Southwest Interiors, Inc. was founded in 1970 by Ted Walters who initially began selling various seating products, as time went on the business added additional sports facility products. Sons Ray and Bob Walters became involved in the business during the mid 1970's, initially as installers and then moved on to sales and operations.  Southwest Interiors has now come full circle and is focusing on the products they have specialized in for the past 50 years, primarily telescopic seating.

Southwest Interiors has completed thousands of projects with the majority of school districts in Northern California and has won the prestigious National Dealer of the Year award with multiple suppliers. Southwest Interiors has the most experience in the industry and continues to provide consultation and sales of sports facility products to Architects, Owners, K-12 Schools and Universities.
