(SI) was founded in 1970 by Ted Walters. Ted initially began selling seating from Hussey; as time went on the business gradually grew to include other gym products such as lockers, scoreboards and basketball backstops. During the 1980's sons Ray and Bob Walters became involved in the business, initially as installers and then moved on to sales and operations. Today SI has completed hundreds of projects with the majority of school districts in Northern California.
